Join us on a guided, easy-walking tour rain or shine through the forest floor and along the ocean shore and learn about the ancient traditions of foraging— perfect for food lovers and hikers. We will identify different BC coastal wild foods such as: mushroom species, edible plants and trees, berries and seaweeds and shellfish while soaking in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

Learn sustainable foraging and the ancient traditions of identifying medicinal and gourmet edible species while soaking in the tranquil forest and serene shoreline.

A bit about our leader Brynne: “In Spring 2023, Brynne moved to Tofino where she fell in love with the forest floor and the ocean shore at her doorstep. Brynne is a naturalist, seasoned forager, and food enthusiast who operates Brite Collective Inc., a women-owned company devoted to creating memorable and meaningful events such as outdoor adventures, foraging education, and serving the community.”
Note: This is not a harvesting trip. The workshop will study edible mushrooms, plants, berries and seaweeds in their habitat and discuss ethical and sustainable harvesting.
