Event Recap: Earth Day Remote Beach Clean

On Sunday, April 21st, we celebrated Earth Day with a remote beach clean event in Tofino, partnered with Surfrider Pacific Rim. Our journey began with a scenic boat tour courtesy of Tofino Ocean Adventures and Charter Tofino, departing from Tofino Resort + Marina. The tour allowed participants to soak in the natural beauty of the area before arriving at a remote island for our beach clean.

Upon arrival, volunteers worked together to remove marine debris and tidy up the coastline, making a positive impact on the environment and protecting marine habitats. Cleaning supplies were provided by Surfrider Pacific Rim, ensuring we had everything needed for the task.

After the cleanup, we gathered for a delicious, low-waste lunch prepared by Kikan.co, featuring fresh veggie rolls with homemade sauce and herbal iced tea. This communal meal provided a wonderful opportunity to relax and connect after our hard work.
